Julie and I were talking, and we realized some of you have not seen my latest look...

I gave our Junior High group a challenge, and if they achieved that challenge, I would bleach my hair... well, the pictures tell the rest of the story!

Whistler Vacation

Whistler vacation, here we come! We stole away with some friends to the North earlier this month and found some snow and relaxation for us and the kids. Three days of beautiful sunshine, one day of incredible snowboarding for Mark and his buddy Josh, some shopping for the ladies, and life was feeling great! We're definitely enjoying having a little down-time now that Mark's fire academy is done and we can begin to adjust to the new, irregular schedule of a firefighter. It's a great, but tough schedule to adapt to, but we're loving it every day!



Back to Whistler... The kids loved the snow - Jadyn and Karina both hit the sledding slopes (which amounted to a dump pile of snow at the base). And it was perfect for the kids to enjoy - after tons of "runs" down the pile, Jadyn was ready to camp out and keep going without us:

Daddy

, "It's time to go, Honey!"

Jadyn, "Okay... bye, bye," as she hikes back up to the top!

Needless to say, we all had a blast. Definitely a trip to repeat.

Well, gotta run and make dinner. Chicken rice casserole - Jadyn's new favorite! Adios!
