The girls started swimming lessons last night. Jadyn has had lessons several times, so she took to the water like a shark. She remembered all her tricks, floating very well, bobbing well, and working hard to swim like a pro. It's been a while (last summer) since we had lessons, so we put her in a more basic class to review, and she's doing great.
(don't worry... she's just floating)Karina, on the other hand, has been very tentative in the water, and this was her first official lesson. Needless to say, we were a little aprehensive about how she would do, even to the point of resigning ourselves to paying for lessons and calling it a success even if she never really got in the water. But she surprised us both - getting in quickly, warminig up to her teacher well, and even letting her teacher pull her around the pool on her front and back.
