Summer is here!

Finally summer has arrived in Seattle. Weather has finally been in the upper 70's/low 80's - yes, we know that is just spring and fall to most of you out there reading this from another part of the country or world. But we're loving it.



Jadyn finished up her Cheer class with a competition - her team did great and won the "Excellent" award - I think that was secret code for third place out of seven or so teams. She made us very proud, enjoyed it, and had fun with her friends.



Now begins swimming lessons for the summer. We weren't sure how quickly Jadyn would jump back in - we've swam as a family from time to time, but she hasn't done swimming lessons since last summer. But she did great and seemed to pick up right where she left off!



Karina has enjoyed swimming with Daddy, riding her bike, and reading lots of books. Both girls are signed up with the library for the summer reading program - we'll see who can get to 1000 minutes first...!
